Anka Trajkovska Petkoska is a full professor at University St. Kliment Ohridski-Bitola, Faculty of Technology and Technical Sciences-Veles, R. North Macedonia. She has completed MSc in Novel Materials from University St. Cyril and Methodius, Faculty of Technology and Metallurgy, Skopje, R. N. Macedonia, and Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from the University of Rochester, Rochester, NY, USA.
Trajkovska Petkoska is a member of many scientific associations and a consultant for several industrial partners. Her scientific interests include but are not limited to novel types of materials, surface engineering of materials, composite polymeric materials, Nanocomposites and nanotechnologies, liquid crystals, thin films and coatings with specific functionality for targeted applications.
She has taken active participation in several EU-funded projects like FP7 (PolySol, CompoSol, Dibbiopack), Eureka project, TEMPUS FOODLINKS project as well as she conducted few national projects in collaboration with local SMEs. At the same, she is also participating in teaching at other higher academic institutions for graduate studies. She is an author of many scientific works, three books as well as inventor of two US patents and two patent applications.
