Systematic study of the Digestive Diseases and Gastroenterology Therapies
Gastroenterology is a “branch of medicine which deals with the digestive system and its disorders”. Diseases which affect the gastrointestinal tract include the organs from mouth to anus, and causes different types of cancers, infections and disorders. Doctors who investigate, diagnose, treat and prevent all gastrointestinal diseases are called as “Gastroenterologists”. They frequently work with surgeons in helping them select the best operation for a particular patient. Hepatology is a “branch of medicine that compacts with the diseases of the liver as well as related conditions”. A Hepatologist is a specialized doctor involved in the diagnosis and treatment of hepatic diseases, which include issues that affect liver, gallbladder.
